It's time for the Puppet Karaoke Universe Show to give thanks for a year of non-stop sing-song madness at the M-Room in Philly's own burgeoning center of culture and arts, Fishtown! This all new version of the popular audience-participation show promises a plethora of new characters, new songs and surprises!
To celebrate the show's anniversary at the M-Room, pilgrims who wander in with original puppet creations will be battling for mad prizes with more heated karaoke competition than ever before! Video cameras will be taping interviews with puppets, and of course, an arts-and-crafts table will be present for those with last-minute puppet designs in mind. The M-Room (formerly the Manhattan Room), is a performance space, bar and restaurant on the revitalized Girard Ave corridor, with an all new menu and an ever-changing calendar of events and entertainment. The Thanks-Singing Show will introduce new characters and feature old favorites, such as Franz Furious, Tony Trainwreck, and Lozar, the Identity-Theft Prevention Monster, and will be hosted by Philadelphia-area cabaret personality David Cassanova. The M-Room is located at 15 W Girard Ave. Showtime is Thursday, November 17th at 9:30 PM. There is a $4 cover and advance tickets are available online. |
