Our story begins in a cluttered workshop, filled with gadgets, odd materials, and half-finished projects....

Yamanira Zato, special effects technician is working on a huge animatronic gorilla prop for a cheap movie by a very kid director named Hasko (who dresses like a punk). The movie is 'Wild Kong' and Zato hates it. He is working in his apartment turned workshop, buried under an assortment of mechanical parts, trying to fix the gorilla, when the phone rings and there is a message on his answering machine from a woman who requests Zato's presence tommorrow morning, 8 AM sharp, at TokuFX Studio, a movie studio just outside of town. Zato recognizes the name as that of a new but very hi-end studio. He rushes to grab the phone but it is too late.

The ringing stops. Swearing, Zato pounds the table in frustration. The young man runs a hand through his hair and sighs. Bad enough he has some dumb kid telling him to make a King Kong-rip-off for a King Kong-rip-off movie, but now he has missed the phone and also scratched his ankle on a piece of machinery. Zato looks at the clock on the wall: it's getting late.

'I'd better go home...' he thinks to himself and picks himself up, straightening his clothes, '...I just hope I can get a better gig than this junk.' He clears up the junk on the table and then pulls on his coat, walking towards the studio exit.

Zato exits the studio and it is dark. (about 9 PM) His small Toyota pickup truck is parked outside. It will be about a 10 minute drive home to the even more cluttered apartment where he lives. He tries to start the truck but the engine won't turn over. Cursing, he tries again, but there is an energy surge that electrifies the truck somehow, feedbacks and shocks him enough to drop the keys somewhere. Then there is a very heavy thud on the roof of the truck and the ceiling caves in slightly. A two foot-long metal claw crashes through the passenger side window and tries to grab Zato.

"YIKES!" Zato ducks under the claw, at the same fumbling for his keys.

The claw manages to grab the steering wheel instead of Zato's head, then it wrenches the wheel free and proceeds to smash any other controls it hits. The glove compartment pops open and an odd silver object falls out, practically into Zato's hands. It has the basic shape of a gun, but seems very futuristic and very prop-like, almost like a toy. The claw flails around randomly, wrecking the cab. Actually, the claw seems oddly familiar.

'Why is it so familiar? And what's this gun?!' Zato thinks furiously, 'Oh well, got no other options!'

Zato pulls the trigger of the plastic silver gun and it makes a decidedly toy-like mechanical sound, yet also fires a neon-bright purple beam which, at such close range, pulverizes the claw through an intense series of shooting sparks that also cause Zato to be flung out of the driver's side door onto the street. Zato is somewhat burned by the sparks himself and a little shocked. The gun has fallen out of his hand due to the shock. He is able to perceive, through the haze of psuedo-consciousness, that the monstrous beast crouched on top of his truck is, in fact, Wild Kong. The machine has glowing red eyes, which was not part of the design, and of course, a stump of an arm where a claw used to be. It roars and beats it chest. It was never designed to do that. In fact, it can't do anything without the remote control device, which should still be in the workshop.

"What...?" Zato mutters, "...You can't be you..." He tries to sit up at least, but his entire body was racked with the shock.

WIld Kong jumps off the roof of the truck and lands next to it, then slashes with his good arm at the hood, exposing the engine. He miraculously lifts the engine block out the compartment with one arm, raises it over his head, roars, and prepares to throw it at Zato! It was definitely never built to do that!!!

Zato comes to his full senses and stands up. He doesn't know what possesses him, but he deals a kick to Wild Kong. 'Waaaaaah! My car is wrecked! I still had 33 payments on that thing! This day can't get any worse!' While not the best fighter naturally, his kick does make contact with the mechanical gorilla's abdomen. The machine seems unfazed, though it's grip on the engine loosens. Zato starts running for his life and Wild Kong throws the engine block, which barely misses our hero by inches. The gorilla lumbers after Zato.

"BACK OFF! BAD MONKEY! BAD MONKEY!!!" Zato continued running for his life, skidding around the corner.

Elsewhere, in a dark, minimally furnished studio apartment.....
Shudai Gen is moody tonight. He has been dreaming of writing a great novel that will change the world, but working for a living is killing him. He has just come home from a grueling day on the street and there is a message on his answering machine from a woman who requests Gen's presence tommorrow morning, 8 AM sharp, at TokuFX Studio, a movie studio with a vaguely familiar name. Gen is pretty sure he has read that name recently in the newspaper (he hates reading newspapers) but can't quite place it.

Gen decides he'll probably go wherever the message says, only because it may be steady work. He sits down in front of his computer. "If only I could complete this novel, I just can't think of any ideas!" He shoves the computer desk with all his might which nearly sends it over. "Darn," he says as the screen goes out. He decides to fix it later as he grabs a bite to eat. After his meager meal of a peanut butter sandwhich and crackers he retires to his bedroom. He throws himself onto the bed and switches his TV on to the rerun station. The show that is currently on is 'The Candle'. "Those were the days" he says as he drifts off to sleep with the TV still on.

Gen dreams of himself standing on a picturesque bridge overlooking a gorgeous sparkling river. A young woman dressed in a vaguely Elizabethan outfit (though Japanese) is smiling at him. Her smile turns to a frown. "You killed me off for no reason in season three. I hate you," she says, then leaps off the bridge into the water. Gen calls after her as the water sprays over his face. Water droplets bead down his cheeks.

His eyes pop open, and he wakes up from the nightmare, with sweat on his cheeks. Yet he still hears water, lapping waves, crashing surf and then - he is pulled under the water, into his bed - under the sheets - under the waves - somehow he is being sucked into an aqueous vortex!

"Hey! What the heck!" He attempts to swim out of the vortex

Gen's struggling motions toss the bed linens around in one world and a cause a lot of splashing in another. Nevertheless, he finds himself floating down to what appears to be the bottom of an ocean, though it seems well-lit and little theatrical. Fish and other marine life abound. Out of a sea-cave steps the same young woman, about twenty feet away, this time dressed in a fantastical sea-princess outfit, covered in fish-like scales. Her long hair swims in the water like a medusa, and she scowls, "Now I will kill you!". She is able to speak, apparently, though Gen cannot even breathe underwater.

Gen tries to say "I don't want any trouble", but nothing comes out except bubbles. He thinks, "Your just a dream so you can't hurt me anyway" Gen takes a few steps back as the woman closes in on him. Staying underwater is taking its toll.

The sea princess stands before the cave entrance and reaches from behind her back to retract two large sparkling fin-like weapons, like undersea fans, then swishes them together and apart, creating strong undersea currents that drag Gen towards her, until he is only a few feet away. At this close range, Gen doesn't recognize her at all.

Gen thinks, "Can we talk this out?" He quickly reaches for a small kinfe in his pocket ready to strike.

The Sea Princess growls, "Do you want to kill me again?" She sees what Gen is doing and uses the sea-fans to blow him back very far (over thirty feet). She does not leave the cave entrance and laughs at Gen fumbling in some coral. Gen is running out of breath! He catches a glimpse of something shiny amid the coral about ten feet away. He quickly swims over to it, pushes the coral out of the way and quickly grabs it.

Gen is amazed to see that it is a silver ring with a large black stone, perhaps an opal. In this underwater light, the ring sparkles beautifully and seems very valuable. It is neither a man's or woman's ring (could be either) yet is very flashy. Oof! Holding his breath this long is getting tough!

The Sea Princess seems angry at Gen's distraction and grows extremely long tentacles from the sides of her body and lashes around the area, trying to grab Gen.

Gen slips the ring on and is amazed when the jewel's opaque color fades to reveal a tiny video screen and a computer voice emanates, revealing data about the sea princess: "Name: Princess Gezera, Type: Dakkasufia Commander, Mode: Spirit Armor Mode" Gen attempts to swim higher to get some type of air.

CUT BACK to the warehouse district....
Zato runs through the mostly abandoned warehouse district and seems to have lost the gorilla. It is pretty dark now but bright lights suddenly stab forward from ahead, momentarily blinding Zato. They seem like the headlights of a small vehicle, maybe about thirty to fifty feet away. There is a deep rumbling sound emanating from the mysterious vehicle as the lights seem to get closer. Using his rather astute common sense, Zato ducks out of the vehicle's path.

Just in time! A cannon-shot blasts the ground where Zato once stood. The huge explosion rips the concrete and sends Zato flying through an open window of the an empty warehouse. It is pitch black in here, but he can see the vehicle as it gets very close (twenty feet away). It is a very small, shiny black tank, a little larger than a golf-cart. It's turret slowly swivels from side to side, seeking a new target. There is a dome on the top of the tank, with what seems to be two slits. This gives the appearance that the tank has eyes.

Zato whimpers a little then dives behind one of the machines in the warehouse. The sound of the tank treads gets closer. The mini-tank starts firing at every building in sight. The explosions are deafening. Zato is hiding behind some old junk and crates when he notices debris falling from the ceiling. First small pieces, then larger ones. The building takes a direct hit. Girders fall, walls collapses, and steel gantries smash down. Zato is hit by a storm of rubble and buried.

CUT TO the Beach
the finale song of a beachside concert. It is a techno version of 'I Am Sorry For Your Heart'. Pop Idol Nanekuya Ana bathes in the applause and cheers of her devoted fans.

After the show, Ana climbs into her limo at the end of the night. Her publicist (the annoying, very cloying Paigo) is banging on the limo window to talk about the next day's schedule. But Ana is tired. She rolls up the window and her driver (the non-annoying Juro) passes her back a slip of paper with a message. Ana reads the letter from a woman who requests her presence tommorrow morning, 8 AM sharp, at TokuFX Studio, a movie studio outside of town. Ana is intrigued, since the handwriting on the signature is very familiar.

Ana instructs Juro to take her back to her hotel. The driver nods and they head along the winding shoreline road. When they arrive at the huge, extravagant beachside 'Sunny Hotel', Ana gets out the car and thanks Juro, who drives off into some mysterious fog. In fact, Ana notices that a lot of fog has rolled in and the entire hotel is being surrounded by it.

Ana walks up to the front doors and rings the bell. The fog thickens. She rings again. The limo is gone and she feels very alone. After a few uncomfortable seconds, the door creeps open but no one is inside. She cautiously enters the hotel lobby and the lights are flickering on and off. The fog rolls in the door and the lobby is now filled with it. Ana runs to the check-in counter and rings the service bell.

A dark shape appears from the hotel office and stands on the other side of the counter. It is too dark to make out the identity of the person who asks, "Do you need help? Because no one can help you".

Ana becomes irritated "What is going on here? Who will fix the lights?" The lights flicker on for a second and Ana sees that the figure is her long lost friend Mika! The sickly girl has very dark rings around her eyes and a very white face. She seems cold and petrified. Her mouth does not move, yet words come out in trails of vapor from between her lips, "Who will fix this dying heart?"

Ana becomes scared and backs off, just as tentacles appear from the within the fog and wrap around her. Ana struggles free and runs up the huge spiral stairs of the hotel to the second floor. The hallway is filled with fog and it only occasionally lit by flickering light. Mika appears in a hallway mirror for an instant, smirks, then vanishes. Ana runs through the hall, looking for her room.

CUT BACK TO GEN:
Gen reaches the surface and breaks free into fresh air! However, he is not in an ocean or a sea or any place like that. Gen quickly looks around and realizes he is inside a huge water-filled cauldron. Bizarre island natives dance around the cauldron, carrying torches. They are chanting an unknown, almost nonsensical language. An old man wearing many beads watches the ritual with approval. This is taking place in an open area surrounded by small primitive huts. There are many of these somewhat Polynesian-style natives watching from the perimeter. The weather is warm and this seems to be a lush South Sea island with a huge mountain in the center.

Gen quickly jumps out the cualdron and yells, "Where am I?" He looks around still very confused The natives stop dancing and panic. The old man raises his arms to the sky, shaking his beads and screaming in some forgotten language. Natives run from their huts and everybody gets on their knees to start some praying ritual. They are not praying to Gen, but to the mountain it seems. The old man leads the ritual and points to the mountain, which now shakes.

Gen stares at the mountain and asks "What is it with the mountain?" The upper half of the mountain breaks apart. Gigantic boulders tumble down the sides into the surrounding forest, a few miles away. The old man screams again...."Gezera! Gezera!" and runs madly into a nearby hut. Out of the crumbling mountain rises the now gigantic form of Princess Gezera. She is minimally dressed in jungle girl attire. The woman is hundreds of feet tall as she strides out of the rubble and into the forest, towards the village. Gezera moves slowly, like a golem, yet appears angry and resentful for being disturbed. The natives stop praying and run every possible direction, for their lives. Gen yells, "Who are you?" and runs closer to her. "Whats happening?"

The giantess looks down at Gen as she stomps through the forest and knocks over countless trees. She reaches the village perimeter and bends down to pick up a gigantic boulder out of the earth, then raises it over her head.

The natives are fleeing away from the village now, streaming out of their huts. The old man hides in his hut. That boulder is as large as a city block. Suddenly, a pretty island girl runs up to Gen. She seems to have come from nowhere and speaks crude Japanese: "Sacrifice! You! Shiny Thing!" She nods towards Gen's newfound silver ring. The giantess pauses in her rage while holding the boulder aloft. The girl stares pleadingly at Gen.

Gen holds the ring towards Gezera, "If this is this what you want, then take it!" The giant Princess Gezera laughs and readies to throw the boulder. The pretty island girl grabs the ring from Gen and shouts at him, "Go! Go!", then runs with the ring towards the giantess. Gezera throws the boulder. Gen runs after the pretty girl, not knowing what else to do.

The boulder crashes down, crushing many village huts and killing quite a few people. The poor island girl is caught under the giant rock and is gone forever. This happens within a few feet of Gen, who barely escapes death. The force of the impact knocks him, and a lot of debris, back about twenty feet. Gen lands in a pile of broken wood that was once the old man's hut. Debris is everywhere. The old man's hand reaches up from within the pile of debris, bloody and shaking. Gezera looms ahead.

Gen runs up to the old mans hand "Hold on man, I'll get you out!" Gen unclasps the old man's hand to pull him out but the old man's hand stops shaking and goes limp and cold. Amazingly, the fingers loosen their grip around a set of keys. Gen recognizes them as the keys to his motorcycle!

CUT BACK TO ANA
Ana runs through the hallway, finds her room but can't open the door. She tries and tries as more tentacles appear again. The door is suddenly thrust pulled open and she falls into the room, just barely escaping the tentacles. She closes the door and locks it from the inside, and even uses some furniture to block it.

Ana breathes heavily then calms down. Just then a hand grabs her shoulder. Ana yelps. She spins around and a tall man in a suit and top hat, with a charming, yet slightly creepy smile stands before her. "I am your biggest fan," he whispers in her ear, blowing vapor from his lips. Ana shudders from the icy cold breath and judo flips the man.

Ana is amazed as the strange man is thrown through the air but somehow lands on his feet, standing in the air on top of a small fog cloud. He then points his finger at the floor and causes a ring of flame to encircle Ana.

Ana tries to escape the circle but is stopped by an unseen force. The man keeps pointing. Now he draws a pentagram shape within the circle and the lines criss-cross Ana, causing intense fiery pain.

Ana screams, takes off her very high heel shoes and throws them at the hovering creep. The heels lodge in his chest and break his concentration. The fire dissolves and Ana runs to a wall, where she keeps her old rapier.

Ana is about to grab her rapier, when she notices on the dresser, a shiny silver object. She examines it quickly. The sparkly pendant is either made of metal or plastic, she cannot tell. "How did this get here?" she wonders aloud.

The man growls like an animal and descends to the floor. Ana puts on the pendant and grabs the rapier, preparing for battle.

The man produces his own rapier from nowhere and they engage in a deadly fencing match, which continues out onto the balcony. They fight through the balcony drapes and both fall to the ground below. Ana rolls as she hits the ground and gets up to see the man floating down effortlessly to the ground. Horns sprout from his head and his skin becomes grey and rock-like. Wings unfurl from his back and a tail sprouts from behind. The demon seems much larger now, and lands about ten feet away with a much bigger sword now.

CUT TO a Rock Quarry and a movie in production....
Professional stuntman Kurasha Jozu is on the set of 'Maximum Police', a pretty stupid buddy-copy movie, where he will have to drive a bulldozer off a cliff. He has just finished a meeting with the Action Coordinator, when he goes into the Production tent and checks his celllphone for messages. There is a message from a woman who requests his presence tommorrow morning, 8 AM sharp, at TokuFX Studio, a movie studio outside of town. Jozu does not recognize the name of the studio, but the woman's voice is familiar, and rather attractive.

Jozu is so thrilled by the prospect of meeting an attractive woman that he takes off early, angering 'Hots' Takashi, the stupid buddy-cop movie director. Hots chases and yells after Jozu, who jumps in his jeep and salutes, then screeches away across the quarry.

Jozu is merrily driving along the rocky road through the quarry, checking himself in the mirror. "Tomorrow will be my lucky day," he sings, then cuts his song short when he notices figures running very fast in his mirror. Jozu looks back and is amazed to see three men in red suits with black ties running so fast that they are catching up to the jeep. "That's fast!," says Jozu, as the three men get closer.

Jozu tries to weave as the men grab on to the back of the jeep, climbing up and drawing large knives.

Jozu tries to fend off the knife attacks while driving and does pretty good for a while. He knocks one of the men off of the jeep, and the creep goes flying and rolling across the rocky ground. Jozu is amazed to see the tumbling body transform into strange unearthly green goo that makes a sickly noise. The remaining two men keep attacking.

Jozu manages to fling another assailant from the jeep. This one crashes into the ground and rolls, then also transforms into the strange green goo. The last man takes a stab at Jozu and hits.

Jozu falls from his jeep, which rolls out of control into a rock wall and explodes, apparently taking the third assailant with it. Jozu gets up, his face and clothes dirty. "My jeep!," he shouts. Out of the wreckage seeps more of that green goo. The creature survived! Jozu realizes that that the other two goos are approaching him too. The three slimey puddles encircle Jozu and start to take solid shapes.

Jozu turns around, trying to keep his eyes on the strange creatures, which slowly reform into their prior shapes, creepy men in red three-piece suits, black ties, black derbies and black shoes. They each produce nightsticks and run to attack.

CUT BACK TO GEN
Gezera stomps over the mostly destroyed village and looms over Gen. There is only hut left standing and all of the villagers have fled by now. Gen keeps a hold of the keys as he runs over to the hut and runs in.

The hut is filled with vats of steaming liquid, burning incense, prayer beads, strange tribal masks and, amazingly, his own motorcycle! The bike is slightly tangled in vines, as if someone was trying to camouflage it. Gezera's thunderous footsteps shake the hut as she gets closer. Masks fall from the walls; prayer beads rattle; vats shake and the steam is everywhere.

Gen gets on the bike and rides away as fast as possible. He blasts out of the hut on his motorcycle just as Gezera smashes the hut underfoot and growls. "BAKA!" . Gen rides fast across the clearing. He can see a crude path through the woods that the bike should be able to handle, and he takes the path as fast as he can

Gen rides along the path through the woods and loses Gezera. He exits the woods and is now on a winding paved road that runs through the mountains. He can tell this is a modern road by the markings and the signs. An engine roars behind him and he can see in his rearview mirror that another motorcycle has shot out from behind a bush and started pursuit. It is a strange black, futuristic motorcycle with a robotic rider who is all black with a oval-shaped head. Two eye slits glare menacingly at Gen as the the bike closes in fast. Gen slows his own bike down so the other can pass him.

Gen hits the brakes but the dark rider behind speeds up and rockets overhead! The wheels from the robot's bike strike Gen and the writer falls from his bike. His cycle skids across the road, hits and embankment and explodes! Gen is knocked out, but he sees the mysterious dark rider riding away until a group of police appear from out of nowhere and set up a barricade to stop the attacker. Gen fades into blackness.

CUT BACK TO ANA
Ana intuitively clutches the pendant around her and a tiny voice emanates, "You must get away! That is a first level demon but it is a strong one! It's weak spot is the jewel on the end of its tail". Sure enough, there is a large ruby-like gem on the very tip of the monster's tail.

Ana runs around the demon and tries to reach its tail, but the creature spins too fast. It lashes out with claws and Ana dodges out of the way just in time, though her new pendant is cut from her neck and falls somewhere in the grass.

Ana is angry and runs around the side of the hotel where her beach buggy is parked. She jumps in and starts the buggy. The demon stalks towards her.

Ana drives fullforce into the monster, and knocks it back into the dunes. "Yatta!" she cries as the beast seems to have gone. Just then, there is a high-pitched engine sound and a black-clad figure riding an ATV comes flying over the dunes to speed towards Ana.

Ana drives her buggy desperately along the beach, trying to lose the ATV. The rider seems to be a robotic creature with an oval head and two eye-slits. It gets right next to the buggy and looks sideways at her. "A robot?", thinks Ana.

Ana does a quick turn and cuts off the ATV, sending the bike and its rider flying over the dunes. "Yatta!," she shouts again.

CUT TO a small traditional theatre in a small village outside Tokyo.
Actor Tsubareika Reio is in the midst of rehearsal for the play 'Many Rivers to Tokyo'. The half French, half-Japanese director watches intently. Reio's cellphone goes off, playing an annoying ringtone (the theme from Fire Moon, actually!). The director HATES cellphone ringtones and throws a fit, halting the rehearsal. Reio is embarrased and checks his phone. There is a message from a woman who requests his presence tommorrow morning, 8 AM sharp, at TokuFX Studio, a movie studio outside of town. The studio name sounds familiar, and Reio remembers that it was started by a famous man by the name of Mr Tereburi....

Reio enters the theatre the next morning for early rehearsal. He thinks about telling the director about the new appointment, but is sure that would result in being fired. As he walks walks past some old equipment he notices a TV on in the corner. There is an image of a man sitting in a chair. Reio notices that it is strange that a TV set is in this room, an old rehearsal room that hasn't been used in months.

"Tsubareika Reio!" calls out the old man, who then jumps out of the TV screen into the room, brandishing a long staff, ready for battle. No one else is around in the dusty rehearsal room where odd props from various Kabuki dramas are lying around. The old man seems very familiar, perhaps an older version of Reio himself!.

Reio readies himself in a stance. the old man charges at Reio and swings his staff at him. but Reio jumps back nearly missing the staff, and lands in a pile of old wooden swords. He notices a sword that looked just like his old sword on Fire Moon."Strange... how did that get here?", he thinks to himself. He takes the blade and gets up. He readies himself in the famous stance of the Fire Moon Technique.

Reio stares the old man down, but the old man snickers. "That is a false sword. This is the REAL Fire Moon Sword!", and with that the old man holds the sword up high. The blade turns into pure flame.

"EH?!, How is that even possible?", cries Reio,"I thought that only happend on TV!". Reio takes the fake Fire Sword and dashes towards the old man.

Reio slows his run down to a stop, only a few feet from the old man who slowly draws a circle in the air with the flaming sword. Reio recalls at that moment a few things about the Fire Moon Technique from his days on that TV show: He recalls that the sword could assume the shape of other objects until it was ready for use (that explains why the old man seemed to have a staff at first). Reio also recalls that the circular sword motion of the finishing move was very fast, but caused a Timelessness Zone to occur within the combat area, so as to create the illusion of slow-motion to the opponent. The fire would also mystify the opponent, so that it was difficult to evade, dodge or run away. The opponent was always somewhat hypnotized and this made the technique a great finishing move. Reio always thought the technique was a bad plot gimmick. Nevertheless, he feels himself under the spell of the flame as it draws its circle. Once the circle is completely drawn, the attack will cause unfathomable damage! However, since Reio knows about the sword, and all of its secrets, he is able to resist the hypnotism and act quickly. He recovers his wits just in time!

Reio stands there pretending to be mystified by the circle of fire, secretly timing the move. He waits for the exact right moment, but those last 2 seconds were it! He misses it! The fire circle is complete and a massive fireball explosion causes him to fly backwards thirty feet or more, through countless boxes of props, until he sails through a conveniently open window to the outside. Reio crashes down on the ground outside of the theatre, which is in a rather scenic rural village outside of Tokyo. He is burned and bruised. His car (a vintage Mazda RX7) is parked nearby and there is no one else around. Wait! A delivery truck is coming down the road, very fast, It is speeding towards him! Seconds away!.

CUT BACK TO JOZU
Jozu blocks the stick attacks and breaks free to run as fast as he can. The three men in red suits give chase, and leap into the air, far over Jozu's head. They land ahead of him in a pyramid formation, one standing on the other two's shoulders. The top one smirks, "You can't get away", then all three men throw their nightsticks towards Jozu. The three nightsticks combine into a spinning pinwheel that shoots sparks in every direction as it flies.

Jozu ducks and rolls as the pinwheel causes explosions all around. It eventually creates a massive explosion that sends him soaring over a cliff edge.

Jozu grabs a conveniently hanging chain from an overhead walkway and swings over the quarry. The three men fire laser rifles but cannot hit the moving target. Jozu lands on top of a galloping horse! That's right! There is a horse running across the quarry and now Jozu is struggling to stay on its back.

Jozu climbs on top of the horse and takes control of the reins. He looks back and the men are gone. He rides out of the quarry past a gate marked 'Crime Town'. He slows the horse as he finds himself entering what looks like an old western frontier town. He whistles as he peers through the windows of the various shops. The shutters of the windows close when he passes them. He keeps riding until he hears piano music from the nearby saloon.

Jozu gets off the horse and enters the saloon, but there is no one there. Jozu pours himself a shot of whiskey. "All this for a date," he mutters, then notices a strange silver object lying on the bar nearby. Jozu examines the object and it seems to be some type of belt made of metal, or plastic? The buckle is huge and has a dial with the letter 'TR' emblazoned somewhat stylishly in the center. He plays with the spinning dial and tries to put the belt on, but becomes intrigued by the piano, still playing.

He checks out the piano. The piano is being played by a hand, but the hand is not attached to a person. He looks at his whiskey and wonders. It's a kind of mechanical hand. As Jozu looks closer, the hand stops playing and flies towards his neck and strangles him.

CUT BACK TO ANA
She looks ahead at the dunes as she speeds in her buggy, but the demon has risen again and blocks her way. It launches two fireballs from its claws. Ana leaps from her buggy just as it explodes in a fury of hellfire. She falls into the pounding surf of the beach. The fireballs keep coming, but they are dissolved by the seawater as they hit. Steam is everywhere and Ana's clothes are getting loose. This makes her even angrier. She struggles to stand again.

She charges at the demon with her rapier in a blind rage. The creature puts its claws together to form a mega fireball, which hurls towards Ana and knocks her back towards the ocean. She passes out in the sand, as the waves lap over her. The last thing she sees in the darkness, is a squadron of men in diving suits stepping out of the ocean, carrying harpoon guns. The men fire their harpoons at the demon, which screams with pain.

CUT BACK TO REIO
Reio thinks fast and rolls out of the way of the speeding truck. He can see the truck move past him but notices that the driver doesn't look human! Perhaps, some kind of alien? The truck screeches to halt at the main entrance of the theatre and the old man who he had been fighting, exits the theatre and gets in the passenger side door.

Reio gets up and runs to his car, and follows the truck."i'm gonna find out his this guy really is!" Reio says to himself.

Reio fires up the Mazda and chases after the delivery truck, which is now speeding down a country road, being driven by a madman, apparently, by the way it careens like crazy. The truck takes a fork in the road and enters a local village with a bustling marketplace. Reio is gaining and is just behind the truck as it heads towards a row of merchant stalls and stacks of cardboard boxes. Reio swerves fast out of the way as the truck crashes.

Reio passes on the left as the truck swerves into a huge stack of cardboard boxes and shoppers run everywhere in panic. The boxes fly all over the road and some of them bounce off of Reio's car. A shiny object from one of the boxes falls into Reio's passenger seat. He notices it out of the corner of his eye.

Reio is now ahead of the truck, which has recovered control and is right behind. The driver is definitely some kind of alien with blinking lights all over its head, and the passenger is the old Fire Moon.

The truck is trying to close in. Ahead, the road leads out of the marketplace and branches, one way to a high mountain bridge that crosses a river, and one way to tunnel that runs through a mountain.

Reio looks around trying to find something to stop the truck. He finds the shiny object,"a kunai?" he says to himself. Reio grabs the object from the passenger seat with one hand while steering with the other as he approaches the fork in the road.

The object seems like a ring of large silver spheres, like beads, very much like a bracelet. The spheres are mounted on a ring so they can spin around. It's seems very gaudy, almost cheap like plastic, but sturdy like metal.

The truck is right behind him, and the alien driver (with blinking lights all over its head) leans out his window with a laser pistol and fires at shot at the Mazda. Fire Moon just smirks. There are laser sparks right behind Reio's head but he is unharmed. The car reaches the fork in the road. Reio can go left towards the mountain bridge, right towards the tunnel through the mountain, or straight ahead over a cliff to a long drop below.

Reio makes a sharp right turn and heads for the tunnel. The truck tries to follow but can't turn that fast. It flips and rolls over, then crashes over the barrier and the cliff edge. Reio sees the truck plummet down the mountainside, rolling end over end, until it explodes into a massive fireball. Strange glowing energy spheres exit the billowing fireball and disappear into the deep blue sky. The Mazda is about to enter the tunnel but there is a high-pitched whining sound coming from within the darkness ahead.

Reio hits the brakes and gets out of his car just in time, as a small black jet plane screams out of the tunnel with laser guns firing. It is a very tiny plane, less than 10 feet in length, but delivers enough firepower in a few short bursts to blow the Mazda to pieces. The tremendous explosion sends Reio reeling back through air, rolling down the side of the mountain to the bottom, where he lies unconscious next the river.

CUT BACK TO JOZU
Jozu struggles to unclasp the mechanical hand from his throat, drops the silver belt from his hand and crashes through the front window of the saloon onto the porch.

Jozu manages to pry the hand free and fling it into a nearby water trough, which short-circuits the hand. He stands up and dusts himself off, then leaves the porch. Just then machine gun fire strafes the street before him. A small black helicopter buzzes overhead. It is very small, no bigger than a golf cart, yet packs a whallop of firepower as it rips the ground apart. Jozu runs.

Jozu dodges the bullets but is hit before he can duck behind some barrels. The helicopter fires all over the area and punctures the barrels, which then leak oil. Jozu realizes the danger and jumps away just as the next attack sets the oil on fire and a tremendous explosion rocks the entire town. Jozu is thrown dozens of feet and blacks out.

When he wakes, it is night and Jozu sees a warm fire. There is an old cowboy whittling a stick and chewing on chaw. Jozu struggles to raise himself and speak, "Where am I?", but the cowboy ignores him. The man tosses a stick on the fire and stands up quickly, then spits out his chaw and whistles into the night. A wooden haycart appears out of the darkness, pulled by a horse, and the man grabs Jozu to load him into the back.

Jozu, still recovering, lies in the deep hay as the cart is pulled through the night. The mysterious cowboy never speaks.

CUT BACK TO ZATO:
Morning light filters through the heavy debris as the rubble is lifted away by many hands. Zato recovers consciousness slowly as he is being lifted out of the disaster area by quiet, stone-faced men in army fatigues, who then load our hero into the back of a military van. Zato awakens fully to the motion of the van. He is on a stretcher in the van. Three of the silent men sit on either side, ignoring Zato and saying nothing to each other. Zato can see the scenery scrolling past the van's side windows and they seem to be traveling across a huge rock quarry.

Zato watches the scenery pass them by through the window of the van, but his mind is filled with questions. 'Am I alive? Or is this Heaven? Or wait, is...is this Hell? The debris...it should've killed me...and Wild Kong...it was doing stuff it shouldn't have done. Oh God, I feel like I stepped into a Jet Li sci-fi movie. And who are these people? They can't be paramedics! Am I being kidnapped? Abducted by aliens?' He sits up on the stretcher.

Zato sits up but the men pay little attention. They are all wearing sunglasses. It is strangely quiet and the ride is very very smooth, despite the fact they seem to be riding over a rock quarry. "You," Zato looked at one of the men, "What's going on? The men don't seem to acknowledge Zato.

CUT BACK TO GEN
When Gen wakes, he is cuffed and riding in the back of a police car that is pulling away from the police blockade. The two officers in the front seats of the car stare blankly ahead at the road and are eerily silent.

Gen watches the country scenery go by for a minute until the most amazing thing happens. The police car sprouts two jet wings from its roof and takes to the air! The police say nothing as the car soars of the mountains, going higher and higher through the cloud cover so Gen has no idea where he is. (as if he did to start with). After a few minutes, the car jerks and has touched down somewhere. The clouds fade away (it now seems like a fog machine effect) and the car is parked on a lighted runway. There are small buildings all round the area, as if they were in a small city. A group of men in orange coveralls run up to the car and salute. The police open the door and indicate with their hands that Gen should follow these new, also eerily silent men.

CUT BACK TO ANA
When Ana awakens she is underwater. There are large fish everywhere. She is in a capsule, like a mini-submarine. She is lying on a bed and there are those men in wetsuits, silently operating controls. Harpoon guns are nearby. The capsule has a clear ceiling, and the fish glide overhead. She rests and recovers as the submarine makes its way towards an undersea rock wall. A door slides open and the sub enters a dark tunnel.

Ana dozes off as the sub enters what seems to be a vortex of light, a tunnel of swirling optical effects.

Ana finally opens his eyes and she is outside, lying on the bed but in the middle of a street. She is in some sort of industrial area with many small buildings, equipment and personnel buzzing about. Seems a lot like a bustling movie studio. There are cranes, dollies, cameras, racks of costumes, a guy with a slate running by, etc. There are dozens of men in orange coveralls throughout the complex, and a few of them run up to confront Ana. These orange-clad men have TokuFX written on the back of their coveralls. One of them silently indicates that she should walk towards an unmarked door on a nearby building. Ana cautiously heads towards the door.....

CUT BACK TO JOZU
The haycart is pulled throughout the night. Jozu sees the sun rise and it is beautiful. He is mesmerized by the huge orange globe of light.

Then, the globe moves, turns and is revealed to be a huge spotlight, being manipulated by a group of straight-faced men in orange coveralls. Jozu realizes he not on the prairie, but in a large industrial complex, and it is the middle of the day! Seems a lot like a bustling movie studio. There are dozens of men in orange coveralls throughout the complex, and a one of them approaches Jozu. The man silently indicates that Jozu should walk towards an unmarked door on a nearby building. Jozu opens the door and enters the building...

CUT BACK TO REIO
Reio wakes up to a floating sensation. His eyes slowly open to see men dressed in hiking gear using oars...wait....the sounds of water....the tweeting of birds....the fresh smell of the mountains....Reio is lying in a canoe, being operated by a group of stern outdoorsmen. They say nothing as they effortlessly steer along the river. They seem almost oblivious to Reio's presence. "Wow, where am I ?" Reio thinks to himself , "where are they taking me ?"

The men sit and row quietly. The canoe enters a tunnel. There is an eerie echo as the oars dip in and out of the water in the darkness and the men say nothing. Then the underground river seems to stop moving. They are in still water now. The low hum of machinery begins underneath the small boat and Reio feels the sensation of everything and everyone being lifted. Lights click on and Reio realizes that the canoe is on a platform that is quickly rising on some sort of hydraulics through a vertical channel cut into the rock. The men, of course, say nothing. The lights get brighter and brighter until Reio has to shield his eyes.

Reio opens his eyes and he is outside. Sunlight and a blue sky greet him first. The men are lifting him upright so that he can stand on his own. Reio is in some sort bustling movie studio. A quick glance back at the canoe shows that it is not there. No tunnel. Nothing. There are dozens of men in orange coveralls throughout the complex, and a few of them run up to take Reio from the outdoorsmen's hands. These orange-clad men have TokuFX written on the back of their coveralls. One of them silently indicates that Reio should walk towards an unmarked door on a nearby building.

Reio opens the door, and enters a very different place, a dark but comfortable lobby, with plush carpeting, ornate decor and huge chandeliers. There is a glass booth where a beautiful woman in a tight-fitting silver outfit sits waiting with a cute smile. She smiles at Reio and asks, "Tickets for how many, please?".

"Tickets? for what?" Reio askd her The woman pouts and rolls her eyes, then slips Reio a movie ticket through the window's narrow slit. "I guess he's the charming one," she says, calling out to yet another pink-haired silver-clad woman standing further down the lobby hallway. That woman smirks and gestures for Reio to approach. She is stationed next to a velvet rope barrier. Reio hands her the ticket and enters the theater.

CUT BACK TO ZATO
The van comes to a stop, the scenery stops moving and the back doors open. Other men, dressed in orange coveralls, help take Zato and the stretcher out of the van. These men are silent also. Amazingly, once Zato is outside, he is not in a rock quarry, but some sort of industrial area with many small buildings, equipment and personnel buzzing about.A movie studio! A quick glance back at the inside of the van shows the same rock quarry images on the inside of the van windows. A projection trick! The orange men have TokuFX written on the back of their coveralls. One of them indicates that you can get off the stretcher now using hand signals, and head towards an unmarked door on a nearby building.

Zato climbs off and immediatelly shouted, unable to control himself, "JUST WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" The men seem unable to respond to Zato's outburst. Then the entire area becomes quiet. Equipment stops moving. People stop moving. Even the wind seems to stop moving. The men part to the sides and allow a gorgeous women with long, bright pink hair to approach. She is wearing a form-fitting silver outfit with silver boots, ans seems like someone from outer space. She smiles and gestures, "Yamanira Zato, please follow me". She indicates the unmarked door.

Zato clasps his hands together, looking at the woman with love hearts beating in his eyes. His feet barely touch the ground as he follows her, like he was in a trance.

The woman with long, bright pink hair leads Zato through the door, into the building and into a very different place, a dark but comfortable lobby, with plush carpeting, ornate decor and a huge chandeliers. She leads him straight to a glass booth where another, equally beautiful woman in silver sits waiting with a very curt but cure smile. The first woman stands behind Zato as the woman in the booth nonchalantly asks, "Tickets for how many, please?".

"...Tickets...?" Zato looks at the woman. The woman pouts and rolls her eyes, then slips Zato a movie ticket through the window's narrow slit. "I guess he's the silly one," she says, calling out to yet another pink-haired silver-clad woman standing further down the lobby hallway. That woman smirks and gestures for Zato to approach. She is stationed next to a velvet rope barrier.

"Er..." Zato looks around then walks towards the woman, completely oblivious to what was happening. Zato is lead by the new woman to a pair of large double doors, which open seemingly by themselves. This leads into what appears to be a very nice movie theatre.

CUT BACK TO GEN
Gen enters through the door, into the dark but comfortable lobby. He reaches the glass booth where the beautiful woman in a tight-fitting silver outfit sits waiting with a cute smile. She smiles at Gen and asks, "Tickets for how many, please?".

"Um.... One", he mutters. The woman smiles sweetly, then slips Gen a movie ticket through the window's narrow slit. "I guess he's the smart one," she says, calling out to yet another pink-haired silver-clad woman standing further down the lobby hallway. That woman smirks and gestures for Gen to approach. She is stationed next to a velvet rope barrier. Gen approches, hoping this will give him a few answers

Gen is lead by the new woman to a pair of large double doors, which open seemingly by themselves. This leads into the movie theatre. The woman smiles sweetly at Gen.

CUT BACK TO ANA
Ana enters through the door next and approaches the booth. The woman inside smiles at Ana and asks, "Tickets for how many, please?"

"Just me," says Ana. The woman pouts, then slips Ana a movie ticket through the window's narrow slit. "I guess she's the pretty one," she says, calling out to yet another pink-haired silver-clad woman standing further down the lobby hallway. That woman smirks and gestures for Ana to approach. She is stationed next to a velvet rope barrier. Ana hands her the ticket and enters the theater.

Ana is lead by the new woman to a pair of large double doors, which open seemingly by themselves. This leads into the movie theatre. The woman smiles directs Ana to a seat in the theatre.

CUT BACK TO JOZU
The woman in the booth smiles at Jozu and asks, "Tickets for how many, please?"

"You and me, I hope," says Jozu. The woman pouts and rolls her eyes, then slips Jozu a movie ticket through the window's narrow slit. "I guess he's the obnoxious one," she says, calling out to yet another pink-haired silver-clad woman standing further down the lobby hallway. That woman smirks and gestures for Jozu to approach. She is stationed next to a velvet rope barrier. Jozu hands her the ticket and enters the theater.

Jozu is lead by the new woman to a pair of large double doors, which open by themselves. This leads into the movie theatre. The woman smiles directs Jozu to his seat.

CUT BACK TO REIO
Reio enters the large double doors, into the theatre, and is led to his seat. Reio sits next to 4 other strangers (Gen, Zato, Ana and Jozu) as the lights dim and a seatbelt-like contraption straps across his lap, locking him in. A movie is about to begin...
